Im trying out linux mint.

As you saw from the title, im trying out linux mint on a Virtual Machine, precisely VirtualBox. Im suprised installing it worked and i did not just make my computer explode.

Im doing this because of windows doing shady stuff.

From what im currently seeing, its slow but thats to be expected with me only allocating the CPU to it.

I'd just run Windows 7 alongside Linux, because when you just completely replace your OS with Linux, you're gonna realize you forgeted up.

Oh you know, invasion of privacy, forcing cortana down everyones throats and probably some other things.

EDIT: im just actually trying out linux to see if i should make a dual boot system or not.

dual boot. dual boot. just dual boot.
you do NOT need to just install linux if you have windows for games and what not. linux is NOT for games and is very incompatible with a LOT of them.
