Except it's a good card that will last for a while?
Probably not as long as the RX 480, but I'm not going to start that here. Plus, if you would've actually read the thread, the OP is looking below $200 it seems, and the 1060 (nor 480 for that matter) fit that budget.

I like how you don't have a concept of budget. If a person can't buy a card due to a budget, they can't buy the card.

I thought I was editing a post and made a new one, disregard this.

my favorite part is how he still thought it was cheaper

Please let's not try to derail here. It's not set in stone, but I just don't want to over do myself. The R9 when I got a quote from dad, he said it ranges 188-195$

So you're getting the 380 basically?

to hell with that-- here's a 380x for 170

How about the RX 470? It's going to be $150 on launch and promises to be right in the sweetspot for 1080p 60fps gaming.

your 400 watt no-name PSU probably can't handle an r9 380

It should. I mean it's enough to power all my drives plus a couple left over. I think it can handle it.

I dunno about that one even though I couldn't see anything wrong with it; I'm hearing great feedback from what's competing in the poll.

The RX 470 I believe surpasses the GTX 960 for less money, so it's a win-win.

man forget a graphics card if you dont want your current rig to blow up get a better psu please

BTW PSU's aren't too expencive. You can easily find a good one that's under 50$ so don't worry about the cost, just make sure it'll fit

Okay geez I'll think of something.

Scratch that, according to GeForce, the gtx requires a minimum of 400 watts to power.
