Author Topic: How do you scale the Blockland display with resolution?  (Read 1048 times)

Having the display at fullscreen is troubling, because there is usually a lag switching between tabs (like going to my browser then back to Blockland), and that lag is big enough to cause problems. Unchecking fullscreen and setting resolution to fit my screen (1920x1080) is good, but nothing scales along with it. All the icons are still as small as before. I was wondering can you scale all the icons (text, options menus, icons) with the resolution? Is there some option for that?

The size of everything in those images looks normal to me.
The old GUIs were not designed to be visible 90 meters away, only the new ones are.
Did you mean to put this here? Modification Discussion if you're wondering how you would implement the functionality to scale them, Help otherwise.

You would have to do it on a per GUI basis. But some GUIs might not be made correctly so they might not scale right.

iirc Blockland's GUI isn't made with resolution scaling in mind

I just realized you also posted this in help. Please don't crosspost this kind of stuff.

It actually is. Most people just don't make their GUIs with the capacity to scale based on resolution.

The problem is that blocklands gui scaling straight up sucks, unless you want to make a really basic gui like the start a game thing.
