Epic is right.
Why the hell does join date matter?

ya, this guy could have been playing since RTB and you people complain hes a newbi (though this build make him pro)

Oh my lord... IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

No, really, I'd say this is somewhat better than Azazel's Castle. However, I'd like to see it in person before I make any more comments.

Are you planning to host this sometime?

...wow... I'd rate 9.99/10 that .01 is for the courtyard make a good court yard and voila 10/10!also cookiez for joo! :cookie: :cookie:

It's certainly laid out better than mine, that's for sure. Mine sort of just... happened.

Looks great.

This is a nice build, but I'm curious how you managed to make an 800x600 png file be 2.3 megabytes.

Well Hot Damn.

Great build.

Very nice build.Best castle ive seen so far.

Well I must say I'm impressed. You haven't recieved a single negative post, and you even got TheGeek's approval, and a post from Badspot.

I was kind of willing myself to not fall in with everyone, but I haven't the heart to. I just looked over the pics again before deciding to reply, and I noticed in the main hall theres a giant sword behind the throne. This clinched it for me, as before I didn't even register it as a sword, rather a piece of decoration. Besides the obvious lack of a courtyard, there really is very little that brings this build down. All the architecture has been clearly thought out to provide the maximum aesthetic value, using various ramp techniques, but nothing overkill. There's plenty of minor details that add to the build also, without looking spammy and the colour scheme is subtle yet effective.

As for the comparison with Az's castle. I'll defend him by saying he crammed a lot more into a smaller area, but you still have a chance to redeem this if you wish. There's plenty of space for you to go wild in, but as you are well aware, it isn't a contest.

Congratulations, I hope to see more of your work soon. :)

Heres a negative post.

So beautiful!
And yes, use the candle lights! ^w^ lol the romantic castle. woo hoo.

EDIT: This should be a MotE application. :D It's all up to you.

Pretty awesome build man.

Another thing that amazes me is that 85% of the posts in this thread are actually intelligent.

I guess that's also a sign that smart people with good judgment like your build. You're lucky! :D

You should fill the overhangs in the court yard with shops and other things and put some stuff in the middle of the court yard and then it would give it a great busy castle feel.

When I realized that was a sword I shat a brick.

Really nice castle
