Well you need to be considered a competent person to be taken seriously by people on any type of msg board/forum. Anyone that actually cares about their reputation more than that should take a break or get out more.

so why should we act and think nicely of those who do good in the community, be indifferent towards new users or those who are neither good or bad, and then all of the sudden act nicely and think stuff of the scum of society?

it makes no sense to me to treat them well, those who are treating the rest of us as stuff
if somebody is using a DDoS attack on blockland, they should not be treated well

yeah i guess doing a DDoS is causing clear, legitimate harm though and saying words you don't like maybe isn't, but rep is rep

so with this formula somebody taking down the master server would be treated almost as well as badspot, while DDoSing specific servers might be similar to rotondo creating the zombie mod
