it does nothing but show you support an idea but have nothing specific to add to it

it means they support the topic (usually drama)
imo it's basically spam that is worthless because if your entire post is /support you might as well just not post at all

It means you support the original poster's claim against a certain person, if you don't agree with it you can say /nosupport instead. It can also be used to support an idea but I rarely see anyone use it for that.

it does absolute jack richard, but like everyone else has said it means you support whatever you're responding to
it's supposed to be like commands in IRC, games, etc. where you use a command like "/clearSpam" or something
