You should start with Torquescript. You have the worlds largest and most reliable Torquescript resource over at Modification Discussion and we're happy to answer any questions at all.

Thanks

im a little confused by this. Should I get Xcode? Or is it just straight up TS3D? And if this is not the case, does anyone have a direct link to TS3D?

If you want TS3D just google "Torque 3D" and go to the link that leads to "torque3d.org"

That'll take you to the engine's website where it'll have the game engine and most likely resources for learning / practicing it too

Ok I got it thank you

python
lotta neat stuff you can do with it and the syntax is incredibly simple.

if you want to learn torquescript to mod for blockland, just learn by modding for blockland. it's going to be much easier because you have a game that already works, you can just build right on top of it instead of having to make your own.

Yet another question: does this work on macs. if so, how do I access it?

thats what I plan on doing

I downloaded the Linux version because I read that Macs are "based" off of Linux operating systems

downloading torque3d isn't going to help with that. you literally only need a text editor like notepad/notepad++/sublime text something like that
