pretty sure that the bloxcity site isn't directly related to  the account hijackings, rather the guy exploiting SMF was using it as a scapegoat. don't know though

I wonder, why exactly has BLOX City not been shut down by ROBLOX or something yet? They are an obvious ripoff and heck, it's even been proven in the big account hijacking drama that the website was just made by some script kiddie on hack forums that wants to steal people's passwords.

bloxcity was made to scam people out of money most likely. it would be easy to trick unsuspecting kids into buying memberships and since bloxcity is still around i'm guessing that's what's happening

There was some script kiddie that used what seems to be a Session ID exploit in order to gain access to people's accounts and spam BLOX City propaganda. Badspot responded by making the forums unusable temporarily (put it in maintenance mode), making the website use https, and some other stuff to keep another issue like what happened from reoccurring. It was really a big show. Several people were affected, including Gamefandan, Darkhawk, Miga, WRB852, nienhaus1, Kyunade, Otis Da Houskat, Valen, Logan55, etc.
