well the fact that more and more people are being shot to death in situations where it isn't warranted should certainly say SOMETHING about how poorly america trains their police officers. maybe it's intentional though, if police weren't taught to escalate scenarios and utilize inaccurate drug tests, their wouldnt be nearly enough arrests to fuel the prison industry
Police training is embarrassingly brief, yes, but "more and more people" are not being shot to death. What you're seeing is an increase in media coverage that is deliberately slanted to villainize police officers.
That said, if police training were more extensive, you would notice a decrease in these events.
Or maybe you wouldn't, because the pulsating mass of a puppet that is the news network at large has to keep fueling the fire somehow.
