I don't take hot showers anyway
lukewarm usually

If you have a lot of wood and/or carpeting that is often damp, mushrooms are prone to grow in your house. Take a pic tho I wanna see it.

Oh well. I find these things fascinating in a way that i'm still grossed out by them but I just can't stop looking.

You should do it for all showers really because of the splash. You want to ventilate to dry the place.

There's no harm in overusing your fan. In my house and uni accommodation the bathroom light and fan were linked up, so turning on the light meant the fan turned on too.

Keep your home dry, and pay special attention to bathrooms and wooded surfaces. There should never be wet stuff or water just lying around the house. Living in a home with things like spores and mold can lead to health problems. If you see black crud forming on your moldings, bleach that stuff up and scrub it. It's nasty and preventable.

I found some mushrooms growing in an old water bottle once. Fungus is really interesting.
