i did get the joke it's just that i was being facetious (i think) and agreeing with a point that you obviously agree on as well

oh man don't get me started
European History, 1618-1945
also the Cold War

I'm a history buff for eras 4000 BCE - 2016 CE

favorites being 19th - 21st centuries

memorizing exact dates of events that happened several hundred years ago isn't important in the slightest
this pisses me the forget off why this happens in quizzes or whatnot
it will never hurt you in the slightest to think the war of 1812 started in 1802

OT my brother is a history/geography buff so i catch onto a lot of what he's talking about
also i've always done great in history class despite not really liking it

I don't know if I know a lot but I love to know about the periods (I say periods but these are probably sorted on my own accord) before and after the roman empire, during the dark age when feudalism took off and the scottish wars of independence, then we have the period between 1492 and 1775 when colonialism of the americas was a thing

after that is probably my two or three favourite eras: 1775-1815 when the industrial revolution was coming into full swing and the napoleonic wars, and then 1815-1885 when the industrial revolution took off, and britain was relatively unmatched

then we have 1885-1991: when germany became a bit of a problem, war technology and stuff advanced 100 fold, world war 1 and world war 2, and then my favourite period of all the cold war

World Wars and the native South Americans.

Gotta love those Bro Flash Mobs.

History is the best subject. Honestly I wish I could major in history but I don't want to live in my car

same

Alexander Hamilton created the national bank. That's all I remember from history. History as a subject can go die in a hole.

psh, history? isn't that for geeks??
I do like the world wars though it's interested me

My favorite thing to read about in History is probably high middle ages stuff. I also like reading about technology through history, and Rome is cool too.

I'm an American History junky. I know pretty much all the major event dates post-1600. Outside of that I don't give a stuff about history.

19th century american history is my forte

I know too much about Texas history
