If we didn't have men and women in the army then people like Riddler could make it so more people would die than ever will in war. The army and war are necessary evils. As much as it would be nice if this was a perfect world, it isn't and sometimes you gotta kill someone to save 10 more lives.

alright i'm not some anti-military cunt but the last war where american citizens we're directly threatened was world war 2, and even then americans we're safe from a direct attack. the wars we've had since then hasn't threatened an american citizen from falling into a dictatorship here.

I suppose the first "problem" with me is that, unlike everyone else, I don't see men like Big Boss as being really bad guys in the first place. If you've played The Phantom Pain, you'd know that you can deploy your men to provide various Humanitarian aid around the world, like giving medical assistance and training to people in areas affected by war and disease. Kind of like the real life French NGO, Doctors Without Borders, which is 'Médecins Sans Frontières' in French. I never played Peace Walker, but I assume there is a similar dispatch mission feature where Militaires Sans Frontières can do the same stuff that Diamond Dogs does.

well here's the thing buddy. games =/= real-life. and to do simple humanitarian things like that you don't need to form a PMC just to do that. all that bringing a PMC for something as simple as just medical treatment into an already war and death-ridden area would probably cause a lot of tension
