Author Topic: I can't sleep, and school is coming up soon. I have a drastic idea. Update  (Read 1568 times)

it's currently 12:47 and i'm not tired at all.
I need to prepare myself for school, but I can't sleep at all. i've taken sleeping pills, but they never work.
so, I hatched an idea.
I'm going all day without sleeping.
I'm going to drink coffee,drink redbull, Listen to Pyrocynical's old videos, whatever I need.
I've seen stuff doing this before, but I feel as though it's the only way.
I need to last until 8 PM.
What do all of you think?


Ok, so my mom gave me different sleeping pills, and they worked. like, really well. i'm going to try taking them tonight at 8 however. which is 7 hours and  21 minutes away.
so,  yesterday was a bust.

challenge your brain NOT to sleep. works for me 99.99999999999999999999999999 999% of the time

no seriously it's a bad idea, it's not too late yet
you'll still be a bit tired if you sleep now but not nearly as tired as you'll be later if you don't

I've had chronic sleeping problems for years on end now and I can confirm that this method does work. However when I did it, it was because I was up at 9AM without being tired before going to bed. This is a really drastic measure for 1AM lol. What time have you gone to bed the last few nights OP

5AM isn't bad. Go to bed at 5AM and get up at 9-10AM. You'll make it through the day on 4-5 hours of sleep and be pretty exhausted by 8PM, or at-least 10PM which is a pretty standard time to go to bed

that's a smart idea, except I go to school where I need to WAKE UP by 5....

10-5 is 7 hours which is pretty okay. Adjusting by 1 hour is easy once you've actually got a remotely decent schedule

what the forget i go to sleep at 2am anyways. you're not gonna feel bad if you have like 5 hours of sleep
