I think I was being too vague with my post. Of course you can be responsible with a gun and use it for the time of need. I was talking about people who love guns for the fact that they can cause destruction with to others and use guns outside of sports/self-defense/Hunting.

Well then they more than likely don't need a gun, which is why i do agree with a new system of checking if a person is eligible for a firearm. I constantly have to rip into these kinds of individuals in my firearms forum. They're usually edgy 18 yo emo kids (emo's and guns. I don't get this stuff) or someone who needs a serious psych evaluation before they cause a mass shooting. My pet peeve though are progressives who attack responsible firearm owners.
