Basically, a natural disaster is a weather phenomena that either causes no or great damage. Some examples include Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, etc. Even unnatural disasters can happen, such as 9/11. But what do you think was the worst Natural/Unnatural disaster? Hurricane Katrina was p bad, left rotting dead bodies everywhere too.

Uhm, Noah's Flood, duh.

the atomic bombings weren't a natural disaster...

9/11 isn't exactly a natural disaster.

I'd say probably the smallpox plague that swept the Americas and killed 90-95% of the population.

they were a natural triumph

It's an unnatural disaster, which is allowed in here too.

Title says natural disasters. Natural disasters can't compete with intentional attacks, because attacks are intended to kill people.

In terms of death toll, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1931_China_floods by far
The range on the death toll here is insane
"145,000-4,000,000"
That's a range of 3.8 million

Well, chinese are very small. There could have been a lot of them squeezed in one place.
