looks like my laptop (or mobile desktop) ignores it's own graphics card while plugged into the 1080
while i'm away from my desk it uses it's own NVidia GTX 980m, but when plugged in uses the NVidia GTX 1080 instead

i haven't upgraded this thing since like 2011

um i thought this was obvious, like did you think the 1080 was just like a thing to plug in and show off

What's your voltage at? Mine's at 1.2v. I was able to get it to 4.6 but there's no point in taking it that high.
