So let me state the problem in one word. Procrastination. Now I've started school, no homework or nothing, but I had to go get supplies for my high school. Now on Sundays, most stores close early. And I've researched where to find the supplies and such, but I've held off going to the store for 3 damn hours. 3. And by this time, most of the stores already closed. I've procrastinated a lot in the past, but I've really thought nothing much of it, until now when I'm entering high school. And you know in high school if you miss one assignment, you're forgeted. So what I need to know from you guys is... HOW DO I STOP PROCRASTINATING?

Edit: Let me elaborate on the store thing. I feel that if I procrastinated today, and the days before that, it's going to affect my school proficiency. So what I want to do is to stop myself from procrastinating before it gets worse (I don't think it can get worse but you get the idea, stop it before it takes over).

honestly I don't know what to tell you about going to the store. my normal solution to procrastination wouldn't work in that sitch. but like who procrastinates about going to the store anyway? it's not like it's a really unpleasant thing
but like in general, to deal with procrastination, say like "I'm just gonna sit down and do this for five minutes", because it's a lot less of a time commitment than planning to finish it right then and there. once you've started though, you probably won't wanna stop. it's just getting started that's the hard part

do it or i will beat you up

don't post again until you've done it

do it or i will beat you up

Well set reminders on your phone, set alarms even, and maybe put on music when you start working on homework/assignments.

Establishing a habit of work with maybe some reward like chips or soda. Try using an app like pomodoro to keep track of progress spent on things to help the feeling of achieving things.

I think we all know ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
