On Blocknet's website:

RIP BlockNet 2014-2016, now we don't have any good dedicated hosting services left.

no pecon shut it down

where can you get a good cheap vps

If enough people were interested, I could start up a Glass hosting service for ~$5 a month as a replacement, but I feel like it's a dying market and may not be worth investing my time in.

digitalocean.

This may sound dumb, but how exactly would you use a vps? and out of the options that are available for purchase on that website what would be the best for Blockland? Or does it depend on how big your server is?

yeah what if i wanted a server for like *cough* new years *cough*

Key to getting people is cheaper starting prices and advertising. BlockNet was booming until people forgot it existed. Having a hosting service tied in with Blockland Glass seems like it'd get more attention, especially is you had server controls built into the Blockland Glass client.

Kinda like RTB, have a good control panel to use online. I loved how RTB had a place to view chat online and even talk to your players online. You could enable addons and even admin/deadmin people.

There was an email sent out saying there'd be a thread on this.
Guess they didn't deliver. Also rip all of my projects :(
