Back at my IT job, our toolset usually included malwarebytes, ADWCleaner, CCleaner and something else-- I believe it was called RKill or something like that. If the viruses were still around, combofix usually finished the job, but we didn't use it often because it had a strangely nasty habit of loving with certain PCs...
Anyway, my recommendation is to try out CCleaner. Maybe try defragging your hard drives too, it may speed up boot times.
