Free Web Hosting Sites?

So can anyone recommend free web hosting sites like 000webhost and 1freehosting...
I'm having trouble with these ( for some reason 1freehosting give me error messages when signing up & 000webhost got stuck on the process of making the website :/ ) and could need some more variety.

What I plan to do with the website isn't anything big (reason why I don't plan on spending any money on this), I just want it for just quick updates on things that happen in a group/organization. I guess informative reasons.

Weebly is good for something simple like that, but if you want total customization, then Neocities.

100MB, which is really more than enough for a few text files
bandwidth is like 50GB I think for a free account, but is also more than enough for whatever OP wants to do

Using Proboards, createaforum, etc. to make a forum is a terrible idea. You should rather get a web hoster and install something such as MyBB, FluxBB, or SMF yourself.
I recommend infinityfree.net though, pretty reasonable for a free host. They don't accept .tk domains on a free plan but you can use the other freenom domains (since you don't want to spend money on it) without an issue if you're looking for one of those. Last time I checked there's no real limit on things such as databases, storage, etc. but you can't use an excessive ton.

it could let you choose from any version of PHP and it would still be awful
