So apparently 1% of the population of transgenders are complaining because banks will freeze their account if their voice doesn't match the gender it was written on the account.

So now the LGBT is pushing for banks to remove gender associated identity protection.

So our bank accounts will become more vulnerable just so 1% of the population can't scream at a bank for assuming their gender.

also when was it ever applied? I use a debit account (my parents own/manage it) that has my parents names on, and I use both cards pretty regularly, haven't ever been asked for name verification or photo id ever

bank accounts arnt even important to secure. banks will always insure your money back to you in a week or 2 lol.
all that effort protecting cards and passwords means nothing, just to help your bank do less work. but forget the bank let them work.

I'm sure any sensible bank would work with a transgendered person so a security measure like that doesn't apply to them.
