Bloukface is going too.
We are going on a road trip from Arizona to Oklahoma, but I am relying on Bloukface to provide more details on that because that is all I know, other than we're leaving Phoenix on the morning of the 1st.

We are going because of our aunt's wedding (she is like one of my top favorite people ever).

Hows it feel living in satans starfish, Arizona

How long is the drive expected to be?

Have fun.

although given the state of the roads in the US, it won't be much of a challenge. The fun part of road trips are going on badly maintained routes to dodge potholes.

Take me with you, I'm bored.

yes hi

each day we're going to drive about 7-8 hours, the first day we're going to go santa fe, and we'll stop for a little bit for some art stuffs i think
and the next day we're skipping texas entirely and going through the thin part of oklahoma to our destination (where in oklahoma it is i don't know yet)

then we're going to go ahead and attend the wedding and stuff on the 3rd, good stuff

then we're driving back home, first to albequerque nm, then to actually alpine az because we have a property there, then to salt river canyon and a couple other places, and then back home

i think the best parts are that we're going out of town (not very often at all do i get to do that), santa fe is gong to be in the 70s wooooot, and i get to see my sister and aunt after the longest time

basically that's it in a nutshell

we have gud snacks to take with us too, we just got a bunch yesterday

I practically know nothing of the route so I cannot guarantee a visit.

update from new mexico

we're in santa fe at the moment, we've done a looooot of driving today i'll tell you that
we filled the tank up twice (both times were not from super empty tho) and we got the bride and groom some gifts from the artsy part of santa fe

right now we're chilling in the hotel until it's time for bed (which is soon)

we're going to leave for hot humid frying pan state early in the morning

so yeah

Good morning from Lawton, Oklahoma.  Day 2 of our stay in town.  Yesterday afternoon we arrived here and got to our hotel.  All our nights will be in suites, which is really nice.  Last night after the wedding rehearsal thing we went to this fancy country club for dinner.  It was awesome, but the food was eh, we were served chicken.
Blouk got a really good one but mine was loving dry as stuff but the room seemed to have mixed results.

The next morning I woke up to my first earthquake, it was minor but we are on the 4th floor.  Today is the wedding day.  I will post a picture of myself in my fancy stuff once I get the chance.

You're in Santa Fe? You're just a few hours away from me. Stop by and visit! :D
