"Grand Theft auto V launcher has stopped working"

I've been playing GTA V for three days now, everything works fine no issues at all game runs without any issues on ultra settings. Just today I tried opening it and the launcher keeps crashing. How can I fix this?

verifying takes a long time, especially on a huge game like gta 5. but if it is frozen just restart steam
