Author Topic: Should i buy this PC?  (Read 2011 times)

Hello guys, i am considering selling my stuffty PC for another one so i could play games like DOOM 4, i was looking on the internet some PC and i found one that has these specs:

AMD A6 7400k FM2+ 3.9 GHZ Radeon R5 graphics Kaveri
Mother Asrock - Gigabyte FM2+
8GB RAM - 1866MHZ
1 TB Sata WD

Should i buy it? Or do i have to look more?

it has no video card. so you wont be playing much of anything

Radeon R5 graphics

granted it looks weak as hell, so it might as well be "no video card"

It's got an internal graphics card, and the 8 gigs of RAM will supply it alright. It's not a good set up, but it works.

what's your budget? why not build your own?

also that one has no gpu and you're honestly better off going with intel CPUs these days. better performance tbh

but thats not a video card. the moment he loads 3d rendering he will blow up.

amd's new stuff isnt out yet. ddr3 era stuff shouldnt be bought at all if your going on a fresh computer.
that basically only leaves intel skylake until amd zen is available.

yeah nevermind, it's video integrated into cpu
I don't know AMD models so I just googled "radeon r5" and cards were the first result so I assumed

that said if you can just spend another $100-150 or so on a GPU it might not be bad. Just don't expect to room doom 4 on it as is.

For the price you're getting the pc for, you could build one yourself that would perform 3-4 times better, for the same or less price

i was just pricing the 900 cards. wtf man. you cant get any 960 for less then $350 :\

how is that even feasible when you may as well get a 1060 for $200.

if you dont want to build one you should probably look for a prebuilt that's highly rated rather than just looking at specs

i'd recommend the Vanquish 5 L1 or L2.

$968 and $1,257 respectively. they are the cheapest of a set of high-end computers but DS does an extremely good job with support (they will have actual technicians call you and it's fantastic) and they do a lot of great wire management and labeling so it's extremely easy to upgrade or replace parts.

better yet

pay somebody to build it for you like NCIX

if you dont know what the various parts do i would not recommend paying someone to assemble it for you because you don't know if the modules are compatible or optimal among one-another to begin with.

yeah no stuff lmao
