Cringe
I'm not sure in what way that's "cringey." Would you rather I have called him an idiot or something?

Most common name in London is Muhammad
the most common name in the world is muhammad
doesn't mean the world is 50% muslim

Would you rather I have called him an idiot or something?

Is there any reason to trail patronizing garbage on the end of your post at all? It would've been a great post otherwise

It wasn't intended to be patronizing. I believe he would've realized that it was a poor statistic if he had just spent a little more time before hitting post.

However, I can see how it could come across that way. Sorry.

before someone says something stupid: I'm not defending the religion, I'm defending the people who practice it. I would do the same if someone said that all Christians are idiots.

Although he does source the population numbers, he does not do so for the "radicalized" percentages. Where does he get those numbers from? Another issue is that the radical population in Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia will differ drastically from their percentage in Western countries (although he does discuss Western countries).

If you can provide a respectable source (for instance, Gallup) for those polls that includes Western countries, I will change my mind on the matter.

I wouldn't call them radical as much as I'd call them sympathizers
Also you said national socialist Germany had a leftist government so you're not allowed to debate politics anymore

You've cited the Huffington Post as a reliable source and have threatened to leave the country if Annoying Orange or Sanders gets elected before so you're not allowed to debate politics anymore

True as that may be, it's an ad hominem attack

Over-reacting isn't the same thing as being politically stupid. Thinking taxes are the creation of the devil, however...

was citing the Huffington Post an overreaction

The myth that London is like "Londonistan" is laughable because in some places you see more European migrants than Asian migrants or blacks.
There were so many Russians around when I was in London this easter.

This is a terrible measure.
Mohamed (and variants thereof) is extremely common among Muslims, while other cultures use more varied names, thus diluting their representation. If London is 12% Muslim (which it is) but 50% of Muslims name their son Mohamed or similar (this is just a guess - I couldn't find any statistics), then it will be 6% of names, which could easily beat all others.

Come on, man, think it through before you post.
Then your assuming that the 12% of Muslim population in London is all male.

Then your assuming that the 12% of Muslim population in London is all male.
Even if only 3% is Mohammed then that's still a lot more than any other name.
There are more than 100 popular names in London, especially when you consider how multicultured the population is. So most popular names will be 1% or less.
But no other culture uses a single first name as much as Islam uses Mohammed. Whatever the statistics are it's no surprise that it would be the most common.
