i tried to get an tf2 earbud generator years back on my old laptop

it was an annoying popup that would stay on top of other windows and center itself and play stuffty music and wanted you to do surveys

the hard drive it was on failed

i installed cursormania voluntarily quite a few times in like 2006-2007 on an old win98 pc my family used to own

other than that i have never gotten a virus due to me being a complete nerd and stumbling across youtube channels like danooct1 and rogueamp

CutThePrice is the only one I remember the name of. It's technically still on my computer, However all it does is recreate its empty folder after you delete it from Program Files.

I once had a virus that wouldn't let me connect to the internet. It sucked as it literally rendered my computer useless for about 5 months until one day it connected after using Malwarebytes and EmiSoft Emergency Kit several times.

I don't know because every time I got anything like a virus, I would almost immediately do a factory reset.

Yeah, it takes a while to factory reset but it also makes my computer hella fast(comparatively to it before), and gives me a reason to go out side.

I usually used like 7 Disks to back up my files.

before i had minecraft i would always download applications that "generate codes" for minecraft
the computer got destroyed

Not really malware (I don't think?) but I used to look up research on my iPad and certain sites gave me that fake FBI bullstuff and I couldn't close out of the window / popup because it kept causing the alert thing in the center of the screen. I eventually got rid of it by clearing out all of my browser history which closes all current tabs.
