Author Topic: not a big fan of my samsung s6, what (android) phone should i get?  (Read 1524 times)

im looking for something that:
  • has a big screen with a big keyboard for my fat thumbs
  • has the cute android emojis (these)
  • is relatively durable without a case (not that important but would be nice)
  • is not ugly
  • has good battery life
  • has a good interface, not cluttered garbage like the samsung
  • isn't loaded with a ton of unremovable bloatware

i bolded the ones i found the most important. don't actually know much about android phones or how diverse they are compared to the samsung galaxy, but i know what iphones are all about so if i'm not interested in anything brought up here i might just fall back on an iphone 6 or something. all i know is im not really a fan of the s6. (im hoping i can sell the s6 for some $$$)

whatever nexus models they have right now or one of the higher-end flagship motorola phones out now
my moto g 4 has the emojis, i've dropped it a few times with no damage, 5 something inch screen, its ok looking imo, it has good battery life, it pretty much runs stock android with minimal motorola addons

get a blackberry and be that guy at school

Get a Moto X Pure edition or Moto G4. Or Nexus 6P/5X if that's more your thing.
EDIT: Also the OnePlus 3 is a good choice, has a (sort of) stock version of Android that is pretty good. Also it has pretty damn good specs.

The Note 7 has, the S7 hasn't from what I can tell.
