So yesterday, in Ezeiza International, an airport with very tame security (you can pass security with your shoes on, your jackets, it's a metal detector which always sounds and you have to show your pant pockets to the cop that's usually there on his phone), they caught a terrorist which The US, Brazil, and even the interpol was looking for him.

The guy tried to enter the country with a fake ID from Paraguay (Due to the Mercosur, you don't need a passport if your ID is from any country in the union) and was caught in migrations.

Well yeah, that's how airport security works. You might see it as "lax", but I imagine that people probably take their jobs seriously when they suspect something is afoul.

There's a lot of airports on the "No Fly" list via the biggest commercial airlines for not taking security seriously, and it's an easy way to reduce profit and end up cutting staff.

Israel isn't flying to Argentina because of how tame the security here is. All you have are some PSA officers (Airport Security Police) and nothing else.

How much more effective are all the additional measures though?

You tell me. The last terrorist attack we had was in 1998 with the israeli embassy.

shame that argentina is stuff tho

tbh who would want to blow up Argentina

tbh who would want to blow up Argentina
Pretty much nobody. If anything it would be themselves. Have they even been part of a war that wasn't a domestic conflict?

Well, we do have one of the largest jewish communities in the world. I dunno. I wouldn't want anyone to blow it up though.

no one gives a forget about argentina that's why there's no demand for high security

on the other hand though this is probably why drugs come in and out of here
