russia and the united states finally agreed to a ceasefire both sides could agree to, closing all wartime corridors in syria (by monday) to allow humanitarian aid to arrive. this deal will create the cessation of pro-russia and pro-US element hostilities taking part in the syrian civil war, forming a stepped program to eventually evolve into a truce. the measure has also created a limited military alliance between the US and russia, guaranteeing american airstrike capabilities to moscow's army as they move to crush CIA

the truce was destined to fail, but it hasn't even been a week.

russian patrols have reported some 55 attacks over the last 24 hours from US-backed rebels against their convoys and march orders, demanding the US get its proxy soldiers to uphold their end of the bargain. in other news, the US performed an airstrike against a base held by the syrian army (russia-backed), killing ~80 soldiers.

the syrian ceasefire is officially over. russian warplanes bombed the city of aleppo, striking a UN humanitarian aid team and then circling back to hit the rescue squad.

last night, incendiary-phosphorous bombs were carpeted over aleppo, setting the city on fire and trapping the city's nearly 2 million occupants from the outside world.. it hasn't been confirmed as to who dropped the bombs, but the only aircraft operating in aleppo's airspace are russia's and the pro-russia syrian government's

morning in aleppo was met with over a dozen airstrikes, many of which are suspected to have been carried out by russian warplanes -- syrian govt, at best. many dead still lie within the streets of the nearly 40 buildings destroyed by the raid, preventing their numbers from properly being calculated. casualty reports place the civilian deaths anywhere between 14 and 70 people.

the airstrikes came right before the syrian army began an offensive to drive pro-US elements out of aleppo and retake the city for the syrian government. state media has urged civilians trapped in the city to avoid mingling with terrorists (pro-US rebels) operating in the area.
