don't understand why edgy friends like jiggy waste their time attacking a tiny community game in doing no benefit for him in the long run, he isn't gonna effect stuff
Theory 1:
To feel some form of power and control. Usually these people are lacking agency over their own lives - they can't get the job or friends they want or they're stuck living somewhere they don't want to be or just the daily grind of having to do what you're told day in and day out at work or school. Could also be they're stuck in their own mental state - they need to change something but can't so they get trapped in an avoidance behavior like playing video games all day and they attack people to get that "you are doing something and it is working" reward signal.
Theory 2:
Inadequacy in other forms of competition. They're super self conscious about how weak they are so they have to victimize people to get the "you are ascending the pecking order" reward signal. Similar to any bullying behavior or people who talk up how tough they are all the time.
I would sort of like to have the forum give you a psychological survey when you get banned.
