Author Topic: Windows 10 having serious fustrating issues  (Read 1162 times)

I recentley got a new computer but there have been multiple issues regarding windows 10 the OS it came with. Recentley when playing steam games out of the blue windows 10 will freeze, if you attempt to go into task manager or anything a pitch black screen will appear and I need to guess which arrow will be able to lead me to task manager. Just now I was able to sign out using CTRL alt delete. But why in the holy forget does this keep happening? There is absoloutley nothing wrong with the computer it's this annoying OS, a few days ago as well while using it windows explorer started having a sezuire, I couldn't do jack stuff with the thing I couldn't access anything and I had to restart my PC because of this OS.

Does anyone know how to fix this? it's really starting to piss me off. My specs are here if you need them:

CPU: Intel core i3-6100 3.70 ghz
GPU: Nvidia geforce gtx 950 2 GB
Ram: 8
Resolution and monitor: Benq GL2250H (HDMI) 1920x1080

Did the computer come with the OS? If so, it's probable that the OEM filled it with bullstuff, unstable software and drives you won't use in your entire life.

Nothing to do with the Operating System. As Pastrey Crust said, this mostly sounds like generic OEM software and drivers which are hijacking resources in a very inefficient way.

Open up the Task Manager and go to your "Start-up" tab. Disable anything and everything you don't recognise, especially things with a High start-up impact. I would also recommend reinstalling new drivers for your hardware direct from the hardware manufacturers, not from your OEM.

Be aware that your CPU, the i3-6100 is not exactly known for being a power horse.

There isn't really anything I don't recognize. It happened again I left max payne 3 paused and went for dinner. I came back and it was just frozen and I had to go back into alt + ctrl + delete yet again only for a pitch black screen. I had to log out again. I don't understand why this is happening

Maybe there was a memory leak?

No idea. I only first started having the issue after quiting CS GO a few days ago. After quiting the game it just froze and I had to restart

the solution is to stop using fullscreen and use borderless window

How are people not using borderless
I never understood

If windows 10 is giving you problems, switch to an earlier version of windows that didn't give you those problems. As simple as that.

No.

No, switching to an OS that is about 7 years old now doesn't help stuff.

It's OK guys, you don't have to stuff on him 5 times.

This doesn't appear to be an OS issue. So many different things can cause this... Your CPU being too slow, The game itself being crap, Bloat/crapware on your computer from the OEM, malware, cpu overheating, etc etc etc...
