Author Topic: Youtube just jumped back in time for me.  (Read 1070 times)

I clicked on a delorean video and upon clicking I was greeted with an error for half a second before it went to the video.

The older playback buttons are being used instead of the new ones.
Here's a link to the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjLXk5TVBUI
This has never happened before

probably something where it thinks you're running an older version of a browser so it can't display the new player

I'm using the latest version of google chrome.

we must go back to the future

common youtube bug and failsafe
html5 player fails to load, youtube quickly reverts to the old player to try again.

mine has the current player

whenever there's something awry going on with your browser it switches to the old player just to make sure everything works

I'd love to see an option for some anniversary event where you can use youtube with the old 2007 UI where the description and channel details are on the right side of the video.

some videos have the old comment system for some reason
(rip top comments)

Well let's see.....

"Youtube just jumped back in time for me."

Clickbait title that doesn't describe the actual situation.
