Author Topic: once again I destroyed my PC  (Read 1285 times)

ok I somehow screwed up my ASUS windows 8 pc (it's stuff it has 4gb built in)
it's booting up forever
either a error and a quick flash of the code or I have to manually restart

What did you do this time?
Please tell me you did not spill a bowl of spicy noodle soup on your PC. I did that once, and I was lucky the system still worked except for the keyboard

(that's how I screwed up my old PC, but it was with dr. pepper)
It just randomly started months ago

something to my computer happened this morning, where it decided starting updating on it's own for no reason at all and then I shut it off and for a motherloving hour, my computer decided not loving boot up and kept on trying to update against my will. After a hour of anger, I FINALLY got to the login screen.

I've had to leave mine on for days when this happened. It just decided, "nahh let's fail our updated"

run program that puts livecd on flash drive or cd

plug in flash drive/cd

hit F12 (or whatever key your motherboard uses) when it's booting and choose your flash drive/cd

its only really simple if you've done it before / know what you're doing

iirc op is 11-13 and probably has no idea how to even figure out how to do this stuff
