yeah some people are forgetin insane, there's way more toxicity in the SU community than you'd think is appropriate for such a relentlessly positive show. the fact that there are enough people like this to consistently cause problems is insane. tumblr fandom is a weird world, there's always a weird sect that will kick and scream and bite as hard as they can when the show and everyone around the show doesn't line up to their headcanon or expectations. none of which i ever see for myself because i try not to deal too much with people like that, but it's obvs there.
and i guess yeah i'm not sure of any other fandom that's had a reputation for being legitimately malicious with that stuff. sucks dude.
