Why are white people listening to hip hop unironically?

For a good beat and smooth lyrics?

xxxtentatcion is loving garbage
all the white kids in my school love him, it's getting annoying. his voice is just really high pitched and stuff

because its a music form and people will listen to all sorts of music forms regardless of their race gender or country of origin. it might shock you, but people have the freedom to enjoy whichever media of entertainment they want.

I dunno if this counts, mostly because I just slightly dabble in the genre. It's one of the songs that got me interested in the genre to begin with. There are a few artists that kinda catch my interest here and there.

Kendrick's 4th album teased?

Why are white people listening to hip hop unironically?

Sorry for messing up your cultural statistics, dad

Hope Kendrick moves further into the jazz-hip hop sound, it felt like such a tease when the final track on TPAB ended just as the jazz group started to freak out.

he can do that after he drops another album with gangster-rap bangers like m.a.a.d city. i approve of his jazz-hip hop movement, and the message hes conveying, but to date nothing slaps like GKMC and i need more of it

also kamau is weird af but his cover of hey ya is iconic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbgo95qYvoU
