save up for a car cuz people cant see your shoes when ur driving anyway

I couldn't agree more.

Though, be careful with the car. Auto insurance kinda sucks as a young male, especially if you ever get into any kind of accident. Plus maintenance costs here and there. And gas.

buy a used phone from somebody off of swappa. no one in my family, myself included, has ever gotten a bad deal or dysfunctional phone off that site

but i do agree with others when they say your main focus should be on getting a car

Never get a car without insurance against third party as a minimum. It's stupid to not have it and illegal in some places.

Well saving up for the car is a given. It might also be worth noting that I don't have my license yet...

Save for the car and buy the necessities. You're not making a lot of money at the moment and, so it would probably be best not to splurge on stuff you don't need(guitars and speakers) until you can find a more stable job or get more hours. You're gonna run into a brick wall of responsibilities within the next year, so save what you can now.

Unless you absolutely cannot be without a car, I'd say stick to public transport until you're sure you can maintain a car. (Insurance, gas, garage, maintenance, future fines)

In my case, I have a truck and rarely use it in the city because it's too expensive to have in a city. (Garages are insanely overpriced and there's literally no room to leave it on the street)

Mow lawns.

Let's say you charge $1 a minute ( basically a rule of thumb for mowing lawns )
And you take 30 minutes to mow a lawn.
And you can only make time to mow one lawn a day.
That's an extra $30 a day.
In a 31 day month, you would literally be able to afford all of the things you want.
930÷30

So, with that you'd still have all of the money you saved, and would be able to afford all of what you wanted in a month if mowing a lawn just once a day, and keep the constant income you already have.

Mow lawns to get a specific item, whilst making tumour current constant income to save.

I hate mowing lawns with a passion. At that point it's straight up not worth it to me.

BTW guys, my job is such that I can pick up extra hours at any time, I just need to let know I'm available ahead of time. They really like me there. Problem is with school and ACT prep I don't have time.

Psst. What about pressure washing

I'd much rather just put in hours at my own job that I already have...

buy some shoes and style the forget out on that CHURCH CAMP TRIP MY brotherAA

Yes, but doing different direct labor makes 6x as much as you make per hour, and you would make 2x as much as you would normally per month if you did it only 30 minutes a day.

I mean, if you like your job and really hate direct labor, it's cool. But direct labor is significantly more efficient and you would be be able to reach your goals significantly faster..

wait what

$1 an hour, and 30 minutes to mow a lawn is 50 cents, only mowing 1 lawn a day is 50 cents a day wat

everything is transient and one day we will all die

Focus on your needs first. If it vital for you to get a vehicle, get that first obviously. The other things are up to your discretion.
