My school is having a school wide "mental test" tomorrow.

So tomorrow during the period that would be "Spartan time" we all have to take a mental test, not sure what's gonna be on it but we have never in my three years of being here done something like this and I have never heard of my school doing this before so it's interesting to see it being done.

Now the reason I think this is happening is there has recently been a group of kids who would cut during lunch and walk around covered in blood, the school receiving complaints probably decided to do a school wide mental test to see if their students need any therapy.

It's gonna be fun tomorrow cause I'm loving scared of tests like this and now I'm being forced to take one, I'm kind of in this limbo of being scared and also interested in seeing what I get from this test.

What are your guys thoughts on this school wide mental test? Not sure if it's a psych eval or just a slip that asks "are you sad ;(".

EDIT: Might be district wide actually because my friend recently took one at their school.

Tell your friends to answer all the questions with what the school wants to hear. I've been questioned about my mental health by school officials before and I can almost guarantee you that none of them give the first stuff about your privacy or even really your health at all, they probably just want to secure liability.

That's why I personally think they are doing it, that might not be the actual reason.

Like Rally said above. They probably just want to label you as something so that they can hold you back a grade or two.

Yeah that's what I was told, they didn't say what kind of test is was, but I'm assuming it's psychic evaluations compared to say testing for autism or something.
