24 hours have elapsed.

Cold nachos and pot roast, here I come.

im gonna fast faster than u
my fast is gonna be so much faster than ur fast that ill be so fast that ill fast ur fast right outta fast
i'll fast for one second

done
fasting at light speed

You gotta fast as fast as you can

fun fact: if you fast long enough for your body to go into ketosis, your breath might smell slightly like nail polish remover because the body produces acetone from acetoacetate, and acetone is used in polish removers and paint thinners

also ive gone 3 days without eating once and im still alive, fasting for short periods of time won't kill you

why the forget would you go fast?

Did you ever think of slowing?

i don't know too much about this but isn't this when the body like switches to some sort of secondary energy source possibly being your own cells

i am interested

It's essentially when your body switches over to using ketone bodies (acetoacetate and beta-hydroxybutyrate) found in the blood stream instead of glucose as a source of energy. Ketosis occurs during periods of low glycogen (energy) stores in the body, like when you fast.

EDIT: I can see why you'd think the body uses your own cells for energy. The ketone bodies are produced from fatty acids released by fat cells during periods of fasting. Since the purpose of fat cells is to store energy for later consumption, this "destruction" of cells is nothing to worry about (unless you already have a dangerously low body fat percentage).

I could go into a deeper explanation if you'd like.
