i personally prefer Vindows because it run smoother than a Mac.  Also on Vindows, you can easily edit add-ons and install them.

The fact that the Steam-Mac version is sold in its extremely broken form baffles me.

It's probably only glitchy when you port it over via Wine. I have experienced NO bugs/glitches during gameplay!

BTW, I haven't been playing via Steam or Wine. I use the actual download on the downloads page. :)

It can't write to it's own folder properly, so you can't save prefs or really save anything. IIRC this also forgets with trying to install add-ons.
