tbh there's a huge difference between "open minded" and sjw

open-minded is just being accepting, sjw is trying to force political ideals upon people via insult and appeal to authority

Neither of those shows use crude jokes as a source of humor, and 'exaggerated character behaviors' is literally the style of how American cartoons work. Code Lyoko was basically French anime so it makes sense that there isn't any Ren & Stimpy style physics-breaking going on.

Adventure Time and Steven Universe both suck in my opinion (esp steven universe, its a bunch of SJW-made crap). They represent almost everything I dislike about the new generation of kids that are younger than me, and everything i dislike about modern-day cartoon network. Constant crude jokes and ridiculous exaggerated character behaviors. Not even funny at all. Only the old cartoon network shows were worth watching. Everything after 2007+ was just pure garbage.

cartoon network went down the stuffter a while ago

correction: cartoons in general went down the stuffter a while ago. I used to be able  to at least tolerate them, maybe even chuckle once or twice. Nowadays they all just consist of unbearable randomness in an attempt to be funny.

i don't really understand why everyone on here always has a sob story about how cartoon network and nickelodeon are dying and how kids cartoons aren't what they used to be. they're KIDS cartoons, and while that doesn't mean you can't watch them, of course networks and producers are marketing it towards these hyperactive kids that grew up in the age of the smartphone and randum minecraft vids. isn't this forum composed of people ages 14 - 24 primarily? you guys are way out of these networks demographics and will clearly not like anything they make. sure, I would like to see better cartoons on TV, but if these studios are putting stuff out that I don't like, I just don't watch it, it's not made for my age.
