It's a big scam to collect money off prison inmates by the state.

We pay taxes for these prisoners, prisons get paid for their daily quota and or manual labor.

Oh yeah, police can legally take your entire possessions if they suspect you are a drug dealer or drug abuser so they can auction off all your stuff for money.

So the drug addict who just served his jail time gets out of jail just to do more drugs again.

Because while in jail most of the time we don't offer rehab for drug addicts. So they don't change at all while in jail.

So they get jailed again and the police and prison warden can continue making money.

I mean, there's like psychological addiction and physical addiction.

People can get 'addicted' to weed because they like it a lot and use it a lot and would rather use it than stop using it. But that's not the same thing as using heroin and not being able to quit without opioid withdrawal.
