Did your Steam folder get sucked onto the hard drive somehow?

I'm not sure what you mean but the hard drive i gave my friend to copy is the hard drive i have with all of my steam games on. he copied it to the main disk and all i did was try to move it to the steamapps folder but it said it was missing

Try opening disk management and see how the drive is partitioned. Maybe also run a chkdsk.
