Alright im DQ'ing the name Betel because I can think of a bunch of forumers I'd name the slug after and he's not one of them so we're sticking with Slugger

I think it would be cool to have a pet slug but my landlord would probably bitch me the forget out and I'm way too lazy to shovel slug poo out of a Tupperware on a regular basis. In the end it'd just be cruel to leave the slug in a stuffty environment without the will to maintain it

Betelgeuse the Slug didn't know about doing this, but the Leaf reassured him that it was all right. He agreed with the leaf; he just wanted to make his best friend happy. He shyly began to crawl beneath the leaf. The leaf blushed, amazed that this is actually happening. Betelgeuse then finally went all the way under the leaf, they were so happy to have finally done this.

It does some pretty cool stuff on occasion. Earlier it was suspended completely upside down while eating some lettuce. But it mostly just eats lettuce and sleeps.
