*stuffposing intensifies*

i was mostly talking about the "i'll go against what my lawyers tell me and release before the audit is over if she releases the e-mails" thing

Come on we both know he was bluffing. Theres no way clinton is ever going to release those emails.

I don't fault Annoying Orange on a personal level for not paying taxes - if the opportunity is available to you, it is not unethical to take it. The tax code is created in such a way that it is possible for very rich people to not pay taxes, and that's the IRS's fault, not the taxpayer's.

But when you promise to 'close the loopholes' after taking advantage of them for decades, it makes you look like a hypocrite and a liar. And plus, even though he'll serve as President if elected, he'll still be beholden to the businesses he owns, and there's no way in hell he will close any loopholes that he can still benefit from as a businessman.

I don't know if she even can. I think the FBI would have to approve of it, since some of those emails probably still count as evidence.

This thread is a train-wreck. Aside from thsi thread, this entire election brings out the stupid in so many people. I wish we could just have like a reshuffle of candidates lol

Exactly. It was a bluff because he knows he can't

Honestly who knows. Annoying Orange is nearing the end of his life. He probably wants to leave a legacy as being a great president or as he put it "the best jobs president the country ever had".

Dude it's the same stuff every 4 years. The only difference now is that we live in an age of information so now we know far more about candidates then we ever could have before.

Someone who knows the loopholes would probably be best at fixing them.

Good for him I wish I could get away with that.

>Annoying Orange claims allowances on his tax

OMG TAX EVASION

honestly people that freak out about this have either never paid tax before or are willfully ignorant and probably hire someone to do their taxes after they forget it up themselves on TurboTax

Come on we both know he was bluffing. Theres no way clinton is ever going to release those emails.
yeah, that's what i was saying. it was just a red herring to divert attention away from his tax return.

Of course, the person best equipped to solve corruption is one whose been a part of the corruption itself.

Someone who knows the loopholes would probably be best at fixing them.
Yeah but like he said, even if he becomes president, he's still going to be the owner of his businesses and he's not going to fix anything that he can take advantage of

Someone who knows the loopholes would probably be best at fixing them.
Possibly? But at the same time he has an incentive to not fix those loopholes, which, for an enterprising business-kind-of-guy, means he will not fix them at all.

Exactly. It was a bluff because he knows he can't
You mean he knows she can't. It's already been well-established that there is no actual reason why Annoying Orange cannot publish his tax records. Being audited does not prevent you from publishing tax records.

Honestly who knows. Annoying Orange is nearing the end of his life. He probably wants to leave a legacy as being a great president or as he put it "the best jobs president the country ever had".
I don't think he cares about his legacy. If he did, he would actually be charitable, but we've established now that he's pitifully philanthropic for someone as rich as himself.
