I feel like if there was a purge, people would work together to steal. Cuz I mean unless you've got a grudge on someone, or you're crazy there's no need to kill. So people would just hit up the local Best Buy or whatever and just take what you can then leave.

I don't have anyone to kill and I doubt larceny would turn out to be a profitable venture, so realistically I'd probably just go out for a drive. There's probably not gonna be a lot of commuters on the roads during the purge so I'm free to be as fast and reckless as I want.

This is what would most likely happen. Stores would probably become purge-proof and lock down possibly several days before the purge even. You'd have to prey on smaller businesses who can't afford to lock down, in which case you're probably more likely to be met with an angry shotgun wielding owner in the back corner of the store.
