if you set it up right you should be able to stick that paper in your printer and print a word document with some text right in those boxes

MLA mostly has to do with how works cited is formatted. If you're writing an brown townysis of a play (?) then that's subjective and you're not going to have works to cite

Then just write it as you see it, don't double space because those lines are big enough to be easy on the eyes assuming your handwriting isn't total stuff.

Do the usual upper left stuff, put the last name page number up in the far right corner kinda smaller (I think it's in some edition 7 or 8 that you don't need it for one page papers), title, and begin writing.

yeah confirm with teacher if you're meant to skip lines on the written test. I highly doubt it though. MLA would probably refer to how you inline cite parts of the book/play and such.
