rez has an extra mode where if you place first in the local rankings of lost area (another gamemode unlocked by beating the game or playing for 5 hours), this is unlocked.
it's basically a much calmer area of the game. you can't die, enemies don't attack you, and it's overall trippy. it never ends, and it's mainly just to relax and enjoy the ride. i guess.
