I do this but I have a mug instead of a glass.
What I do is I fill my mug AND the bottle.  I refill my mug when it needs it, so I don't need to go back into the kitchen every time I need to refill it.  I can refill my mug 3 times before I need to refill stuff again.

I don't drink from the bottle.  I only use it to refill the mug, saves me lots of trips.

It wasn't hard at all to do, took less than 5 minutes.

I like yours though OP but it doesn't look...curved enough.
