So why is there no edit function in Drama?

Alot of people Ive asked about this say the same thing and Ive come to accept it as probably actual truth

Apparently before Edit was removed, alot of starfishs being drama'd would edit their posts to remove any actual rebuttal or other material that could be used to further incriminate them and further show them how much of an starfish they are
Think of it like this
The Media reports on a shooting
Then the criminal suddently destroys all the evidence
Then suddently noone knows who the hell did it or what the media is talking about
Thats probably the best brown townogy I can come up with

Some have said that Lord Tony was involved with removing edit, but I never actually found any clarification on that, so his involvement to me is just speculation right now

I don't remember the actual events leading up to the removal and Badspot didn't really say anything regarding it(iirc). Some other users have better explanations, though.

honestly i dont even know if it would HYPOTHETICALLY help. it'd only change someone's mind if they were the kind of person who would completely edit out their posts to save face later

i always thought it was because when you're dealing in drama irl, you say something stupid, it's out there, you can't revoke it

same thing in court, and the drama section is kind of like a mini court that doesn't do anything, so the edit button was removed
