Author Topic: Any actual advantage over kris style blades?  (Read 3242 times)

This got me a think. I can't think of any advantage a kris style blade has over a regular blade. Maybe one of you guys know?

your enemy underestimates you because your weapon looks stupid

yeah flamberge doesnt look good on this knife

I agree. I think they look semi-decent on stilettos though.

flamberge stilettos are hot

it starts building the bleed meter

what the hell do you even need that for why cant you just use a regular knife

sure if you were a trench soldier in ww1 it'd make sense to have the best blade possible but seriously, wtf. if you're a collector of knives the 'advantage' of the blade wont even matter to you in the first place. the only reason you'd want such information is if you're either interested in cutting your steak right or stabbing someone to death

bigger stab wounds
looks threatening

I find it pretty technical but I'm pretty sure wavy blades will give you a nastier stab wound because it's, technically, wider. You'd get the same effect out of a wider forgetin' blade though and you wouldn't have as much friction going in or out.

If it was much longer it would be useful for parrying though lol

not sure what you mean by advantage but if youre stabbing a hooker to death a normal knife works just fine and is less suspicious

you will probably never get in a knife fight

I think curved blades are supposed to be more difficult to correctly apply pressure to, making it more likely that someone stabbed with one will bleed to death. No idea where I heard this from though.

kris swords were thought to have supernatural abilities, hence the shape

they're more of a psychological tool than a physical one

Is anyone at all concerned about the fact that a teenager on the internet is asking how effective a potential murder weapon is? Is it just me and I'm going crazy? Someone please help me

maybe he's looking for a new edc blade or just wondering why these weird things even exist why u give such af
